I write mostly about pop culture and entertainment.
Most people find one true calling in life, but I’m lucky to claim two. Pulling double duty as a writer and photographer means some days I'm running around town with a Canon in hand, while others I’m hunched over a keyboard, drumming up words and stories. On the best days I’m doing both.
In addition to being founded by and run by small presses, Asterism started by rethinking as many of the assumptions behind how small presses do distribution as possible. We do not offer returns on wholesale orders (with exceptions for event orders and damaged copies), and, in exchange for booksellers, we promise never to sell into online discounters that can undercut them on price.
